New Website Design!

After Sylent Sylver Productions Opens New Window changed hosting services, we decided to redesign the website and do away with the hassles of users having to register to get information on events on our social network site.
Considering most of our users are members of our Yahoo group where most of our activity is, or are friends on Facebook Opens New Window and Myspace , we thought it would be best to go back to a simple site layout where we could publish our information.

Chilis' Fundraiser Helps DBBWS
Our dinner at Chilis' had a great turnout. The resturant donated 10% of the total bill to our organization to help pay for the 2010 Memorial Day Bash in May.
We would like to plan another trip there soon if possible. The money raised will go toward expenses to help keep the price of tickets low.

Dallas BBW Social started with 3 friends on Yahoo Groups who wanted to get together occasionally and go out to the movies, for drinks, or whatever they decided to do.

New Event System
Along with the new host and site design, we have implimented a new calendar & event signup system as well. Security was an issue with the old site, that combined with the fact that most of our activity is on our Yahoo group forced us to consider better methods to keep the event signups as simple as possible and secure, while optimizing our networks potential.

2010 Dallas Memorial Day Bash
It's time for the 2nd annual Memorial Day Bash!
This year the bash will be held at the DFW Airport Hotel & Conference Center on 183 in Irving.
The hotel features an outdoor and indoor pool and hot tub, game room, indoor putting green, spacious meeting rooms and more.
We will be having a meet & greet dinner Friday night, dance & party on Saturday and a BBQ by the pool on Sunday, along with other activities throughout the weekend.
